Weld Cleaning and Surface Prep in Southern Utah
A good weld starts with a clean surface and a good finish starts with a clean weld. Jared's Surface Prep uses laser cleaning to remove mill scale, rust, paint, oil and weld discoloration with no abrasive wheels, grit or chemicals. It is fast, repeatable and leaves nothing behind that contaminates the next step.
Before welding
Remove rust, paint, oxide, mill scale, oil and coatings from joint areas so welds are clean and consistent. Aluminum and stainless steel especially benefit from clean oxide-free surfaces.
After welding
Remove heat tint, discoloration and spatter residue so welds are ready to coat, paint, passivate or inspect.
