Laser Cleaning Frequently Asked Questions

Cost, safety, materials, turnaround and honest limits.

What is laser cleaning?
Removing rust, paint and coatings with focused laser light instead of sand or chemicals.
Does it damage the surface underneath?
Settings are matched to the material. We test first on delicate surfaces.
What materials can you clean?
Steel, cast iron, stainless, aluminum, brass, stone, brick, concrete and wood. Results vary by material.
How much does laser cleaning cost?
It depends on size, material, paint, color and thickness of coating. Send a photo for a quote — we do not publish fixed rates because every surface is different.
Is it faster than sandblasting?
On small parts and detail work, often. On very large areas, sandblasting can be faster.
Is it safe?
Yes, with proper eye protection and fume extraction. We take extra care with older paint. Tell us the age of the coating up front.
Can you come to me?
Yes. We offer shop drop-off in Washington, UT and mobile on-site service. Primary coverage is St. George, Washington and Hurricane. Other Southern Utah towns — ask us.
Do you remove lead paint?
Tell us in advance if the coating may contain lead. We may decline the job for safety reasons when we cannot process it safely.
Do you work on mold or soot?
No. We focus on rust, paint, coatings, graffiti and weld prep.
How do I get a quote?
Send photos through the form or text (435) 574-9808. We reply within 24–48 hours.
